Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop and Introduction to Grafting

Whether you are pruning for fruit bearing or shaping for aesthetics, this workshop will offer a hands on experience in our orchards. You will understand shape, purpose, vigour, and fruit set, and give you the confidence to evaluate your own trees, decide what you want and prune for the outcome you want.
Apples, pears, plums, apricots, lots of pomes and stones.
This is a hands on workshop so bring your gloves, secateurs, some lunch and dress for outdoors.
We will also offer an introduction to different grafting techniques, do grafting demonstrations, and you'll be able to do some practice grafting.
Cost is $25
